Brother or Sister?

Here is Avery pushing her baby in her stroller...she finally figured out that baby goes in the stroller, not other random toys!  She's so cute, constantly taking baby out to give her kisses and hugs-where is this angel when we are out in public???

According to the ultrasound tech, baby B. is "definitely a boy"!  Therefor, Avery Kay will be the big sister to a little brother in four short months.  I'll spare you the ultrasound pictures, but according to the tech there's no mistaking that it's a boy.  I, on the other, could see "it" as a possible extra limb.  Those ultrasounds are tough for the untrained eye.  Regardless, baby B. now has a name, Spencer Harris.  Spencer is a name that Artie and I liked (and it keeps our family names, minus the dogs, all beginning with A's and S's) and Harris is a family name.  Dr. says baby is developing just as it should, so that is what we are most grateful for.  Avery was a complete handful at the Dr.'s.  I'm not sure how much more of these screaming sessions in public I can take. My blood pressure was so high by the time I actually got in for my appointment, I'm still recovering.  She's such a different person when she's at home, it's amazing.  We are heading to the pediatrician Monday for her 15 month check up, perhaps she'll have some advice for us.  Not many pictures from the week. Artie worked very long hours all week long, giving me a taste of single-parent-hood, which I found I do not care for.  As a result, not much energy for capturing pictures this week (plus, the spring semester started and I'm taking 2 classes so it was really a hectic week!).

We are excited to hear that Avery's brother is growing like he should. Life with two under two is a blast. Congrats and take it easy while you can ;)

I love the picture of Avery and her doll. Josie is obsessed with baby dolls lately. Little girls are so much fun.

Love, Nickey, Jim, Josie, and Neve

Congrats- that is so exciting. Cute name! I totally know what you mean about not liking the single parenthood thing- I find myself dreading the weekends/early mornings when Brian has to work and then I think- How in the WORLD does Megs/Christine/other military people do this for months at a a time?!?
Oh and I agree with Megs- boys are a breeze!! Just make sure you use the diaper as a shield well for the first few months!

LOL- I'm having fun reading Megs and KTP's comments- because I have NO idea what I would do with a boy. There are way too many pink things in our house!!! LOL- congratulations! I am so happy for you guys:) Avery is going to be a wonderful big sister:)
P.S. I know you have probably mentioned it before, but when is your due date?
Love,
C:)

P.S. I totally understand about going out in public with tantrums- Elizabeth has gotten SO much better in the past few months, but every once in a while, my child is the screaming one in the corner while everyone else stares at us;) I think it's normal;) Good luck!

I wish we could get together so they could play- we are headed to ND in Feb. and also in April so maybe we could have a mini-reunion with some SMC girls?
Love,
C:)

I'm so excited for all of the boy advice-and the thought that they are easy!! Christine, my due date is technically June 1st, but since I have to have another c-section, it's most likely going to be May 20th (my DR. does her c-sections and other surgeries on Wednesdays only!).
