New tricks

Oh is it getting exciting at our house!  Avery is really starting to hone in on her climbing skills. She loves to climb inside her block wagon, sit, stand, and climb back out.  She is really starting to be a pro at it.  There are a few times that she tests gravity and sits on the edge until it starts to tip.  Fortunately, she has only fallen out a couple of times!  Then, today, Avery decided that she wanted to climb onto the tv tower.  She used to use the drawers and just climb in them.  Now, she actually climbed all the way onto the first shelf!  Oh my!  She no longer climbs on the fireplace because she knows she gets timeouts for that...so she is testing to see what other things she can climb in/on.  Lately, Avery is really trying to climb up on the furniture...she's still a little short to do it by herself, but she can do it if she has something to pull herself up with.  It's funny how I can go on and on about her newly found climbing skills, but it really just amazes me to see how daring and fearless she is!!

Here's the little monkey in the tv tower.  Once she got up onto it, she wanted to tell mommy all about the experience-she's already using her hands to "help" her talk!
